This entire month has been insane and even though Halloween is one of our favorite holidays around here, we weren’t planning on celebrating this year. I know… sad, right? So last minute we decided that we really suck as parents if we just let holidays pass like any other day. So what do you do when you have 20 minutes to make a costume before the party?
Moving boxes? Check!
Spray paint? Check!
Packing tape? Check!
You go as Legos!!
We were high off paint fumes by the time we arrived, but everyone knew what we were! Yay! Success! And as an added bonus, the costumes made a great fort for Ezra when we were done. Sadly, though, no pumpkins to carve this year. Would you believe that Walmart ran out? They ran out of candy, too! Wha? Guess you gotta get in gear quick if you want to celebrate around here.
BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT TO AUNT AMY!!! WE LOVE YOU! HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT DAY!!!
Too cute! It was probably not nearly as scary for Ezra and some who came to our house were for Nache. He wanted to hanad out the candy instread of going out to get some and he refused to wear his clown costume so John and Lisa left him with us while they took Isabel and Garrett. Several times he wanted to just slam the door but hung in there. He would have loved to see a sweet green lego instead! Amy was here for her birthday and we had a good and relaxing week-end with her.
just out of curiousity. . . is that thing on your head the smae thing as ezra`s imagination hat? haha
Har har har, Ev. I can’t believe you’re going to make fun of my cute flower headband! I’m so stylish in it! 🙂
