Electric Mower

I know this is an odd thing to post about, but we just purchased a new lawn mower. (We were tired of paying $20 a week to have a neighbor mow our lawn.) We knew we wanted to go “green” with our new purchase and originally looked into buying a rotary mower which requires no gas or oil, but since our property has several mature trees (and therefore lots of sticks and twigs) the  rotary style would not have worked as well as needed. We decided instead to go with an electric model. We love it! It’s as powerful as it’s gas guzzling counterparts, but is wonderfully quiet with zero emissions.
