Meet Kenzie – our 120lb (and growing) baby. She has done her best to help prepare us for parenthood. Within just a little over a year of having her in our family we feel like we’ve been through several of the stages of raising a kid. For example, when she was a baby we had to get up once or twice in the night with her to let her out. She’s been through picky eating phases and once skipped five meals in a row hoping for something more delicious than her usual Iams. Now she throws tantrums in which she stomps her feet and whines until she gets what she wants whether it be playing outside or going for a nice long walk. She has also begun to test her boundaries and talk back – which sounds more like she is mumbling something under her breath. Perhaps she is just going through her teenage years. My where does the time go?
